Returning Player - Consecutive Login Rewards ?

Just curious. Is there a reason why R2 removed the consecutive login rewards from
Return Player Extravaganza? Previously, both the Inviter and the Invitee could click
on rewards when the returning player logged in 2, 5, 10, & 15 consecutive days.
