What I wanna know is how I spent roughly $200 max on my toon and these are my stats lol:

Lol.. Remove your Red astrals and replace them with oranges, remove your 200% academy buff, clothing identification, fate stones buffs, sylph. Now try to calculate your BR in "the same condition" And try to estimate how much gold you would get per wb without all these, slowing you down even more hahha
I also suppose it was at the time where there were no templars..wheree 35k br couldnt actually clear lvl 100 cata xD
(Wartune made over 1M$ after one month of existance lol)

There were also way less rewarding balen events than nowadays.

just want to point out that BR doesn't mean all, e.g. high BR = playing well, example is the knight, name starts with james

There's a knight on my server. 174k br, higher stats then me in every way, including 10k br higher then me. Cannot beat me in a 1 on 1 fight.
