Temp mail and inventory items

I have temp inventory and i think the time of it's expiry is almost arriving. Can someone tell me if the server being closed means the time will still tick on in the server and if the temp items will expire or not? I really need to know this

I apologize, this question cannot be accurately answered. I can guess that the state of the server is preserved by being turned off, but it's impossible to know that answer at this time.
