If you dig around enough, you'll find that at least 90% of most games' music was composed by someone else. It's more cost effective to buy licenses for game music than it is for the company to hire composers and create brand new music.

Also, if you dig around some more, you'll find that R2Games' Wartune is a licensed version provided in English. R2 is not the original developer- a chinese company that provides Wartune in full chinese is the original developer. R2 (along with 7road) merely publish the game in English, and quite a few other things that aren't pertinent to this discussion. This type of license agreement between publishers and developers usually means most things cannot be changed, and that includes the music, graphics, and overall game content (things that would make the game vastly different from the original- like game play, classes, etc).

There is no copyright infringement for R2. And, if there was, it would be up to the owner's of the copyright to contact the legal department for the developer.

And, since this topic was covered several times months ago when Wartune first came out in English, this thread is now closed.

i don't think its a rip off maybe r2 just bought the music
