imo, ruthlessness is the worst astral ever

energine is good, when you find it, it's a good boost of astral EXP , there are lot worse than Energine.
Personally the 2 most efficant astrals is.

Enhanced Will Destroyer & Enhanced Determinatio, both give good % damage boost, but I would rate Enhanced Will Destroyer best astral, for mage & knight, you don't need crit+determination anymore, and your (im mage so from my view) AoEs will always do those X5% extra damage, and it will do very good specially since you don't want to use astral slots OR gem slots for crits, this saves you as a knight or mage slots for def/hp gems and 1 extra astral slot

First...Misfortune can't be counted since its not useable for anything but reselling so its not really an astral.

also you do not give a "best for what" scenario the best astral & worst changes based on situation, but if you mean overall. I'd say the best is Illusion as everyone has a reason to use it & can save a ton of damage & the worst...probably Ruthlessness, I hate gambling on doing less damage...makes no sense.

I use ruthlessness for WB and that is it. I drew a Will Destroyer gold earlier last night. Being an archer in went into another gold.

Pdef and Mdef are two that everyone can use.

But i'd say mystiality > Force
Mysticality gives matk an matk x 1,05 = battle rating while force x1,00 = battle rating.
So yeah matk gives more br muhahahaha !! i actually don't know if this is something to behappy about though ^.^

sure, you can make a case that mysticality is the best astral, but i doubt that any archer or knight would agree with you...after i saw that, i pretty much deemed that this thread wasn't fully thought out.
