EWD knight does crit damage

So earlier today I fought a knight who has enhance will destroyer equipped and who somehow had 80% of his attacks lend criticals on my troops. Anyone else encountered something like this?

And before u ask, no I have no screenshots. When I fought him though he didn't have EWD equipped, and when I check to see how high his crit was to lend so many criticals, I found his crit was only around 200-300 and he has EWD equipped.

so if he leaves his character logged in for a while astrals stop working?
