can I buy magic attack and magic defence astrals and gems ?

You can't buy astrals, but you can buy gold with the Alchemy, or by using balens and vouchers to boost your attack against the World Bosses. You can then use the extra gold to collect astrals.
You CAN buy gems, but the cost of them is really high and you can only buy lvl 2 gems which you then have to synthesize to higher levels. Best to use your money on crypt keys and earn gems there or contribute and use the alter in your guild.
