AFK button in city screen

It would be nice to have and AFK ( away from keyboard ) button in our city screen. Sometimes i have to leave for a little while to do something around the house and leave my game open. It would be nice if others knew you were afk. This would stop invites, chat request and other things. I didn't find anything in the forums on this. Thanks you

You can tell someone is AFK by the little time indicator in his or her avatar... eventually.

In chat (press on the heart icon) you can set yourself to a number of status, including away. I don't know if this shows up instantly or like KE says you have to wait for it to appear on your avatar!
