  • Correct formula for the version 1.5 critical/block

Just Searched out this formula to calculate version 1.5 crit /block right now, I tried it, the result explains why block /crit is too low in PVP:

    (1-0.9995^critical score)*100%.

for example , if you have 2200 block , the chance you can clock is (1-0.9995^2200)*100% = 24%, you only can block 24% incoming attack, you will need 55000 block rate to reach 99.99999% block chance.

55,000 for 99%? Doesn't sound right. Check again.

My question is where did you find this formula? That would go a long way towards the believability of your statements.

Yes, because being able to block 99.99999% would make a whole lot of sense.

So player with 100,000 magic / physical attack can hit you for 1 damage, each time, every time ?

Yeah, I can see that working perfectly.

first of all, no one in the world can pile up 55,000 block rate to reach 99.9999% block chance.

secondly, block only can deduct damage , not immune to it.

                    That formula is ancient.

                      first of all -
                      1-0.9995^2200 = 0.6672
So either I do not understand the formula - or I don't understand how did you reach (1-0.9995^2200)*100% = 24% ?

                      Thanks

Crit and block universal calculation always is 100= 2%.

I don't either.. unless the max is 90% chance and he means 1-0.6672 = 24%..
it doesn't make sense to increase chance but starting the formula with "1 minus anything"
