Clothing conversion

Hi all, my first post.

I just want to know if, with a level 4 Clothing i can obtain a special clothing if i synthesis it with a fashion core, because i don't want to upgrade it level 5?

Guildies said that you can get special clothing with fashion cores only (and they did get it). Didn't try it myself cause don't whana lvl up in spire yet ;v

Ok because i've ask to my guildies and they told me they had their special clothing when they synthesis 2 level 3 clothing..
So my question is : can i obtain a special clothing if i synthesis my level 4 clothing + fashion core?
