I'm not a casher but I got about 300 balens on free offers.

I use it to buy gem transposers lvl 6 and will maybe use what's left of it on some event (for example, if I'm missing just 10 ancient seeds to get the mount, I'll buy the ancient box).

Im not a non casher, but as far as 'bang for your buck' goes, crypt keys (assuming you can beat level 100) and level 1 clothing are excellent options. You could possibly wait it out and hope you get lucky with a level 6 or 7 gem in the mystery shop.
