It would at least be good for a laugh. Since neither the lvl 70 gear, nor the lvl 12 gems have been uploaded to these servers yet. So it would be entirely impossible for him to have gotten them.

Level 12 gems are on the servers.

Just no one has them because they can't get that far in Tormented.
