Choice between this or that

I'm soon going to get my mage to 60.

Should I go with red block or orange illusion?

Personally im leaning veeeeerrryyyy much towards red block. But just thought i'd ask.
(dunno whether red block was good or bad drop..)


Yea, I know they're low lvls ;/

I don't like crit build because I would need like 3500+ critical for damage output to be reasonable to keep up with EWD.
So i'm going with EWD build

Stay on 59 and bulid crit mage but. If you want choice betwen orange illu and red block, v 4 block gives you 20% block rate - if belive rumoRs, ilusioN gives you at at v5 15% block chance...better is block but if i need choice with wd bullid... Wd,gb and guardian angel on 60+... This gives you max your defense, att and put lower archer crit rate
This is my advice...block astral is good when you have 7rd astro slot

illusion 5 is 10% (2% per lvl with orange, 1% per lvl with purple)

Block for 6th astral for sure, red block only reinforced the point...you will need a decent amount of block for a very noticable effect though

Up - right but better will be guardian angel...with nerf archer crit and eat knight from class profit - less crit chance from attak for you is better - dodge dmg is nerfed too...

Dont have any guardian angel, or I would've concidered it as well.

Yea, I will be around 1150 block with l4 red block, possible some 100-150 more depending on refines, I'm 45 loids away from my 50 PvE set, and I think one of the legend parts had a block refine :/

Illusion is currently not proccing at it's intended rate. It is lower than the listed percent. I've personally tested this, as well as many others I know. It's triggering at less than half its intended rate.

I noticed that on an old char after some patch :/ but it triggered a lil too often before

Gold: Will Destroyer & Goddess Blessing

I will add a gold/red Block to that at level 50.

I'd say block, they occur more often than Illusion so the amount of damage reduced is potentially higher.
