WB delay as Mage

So I'm having this weird issue in World Boss event, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to cause it. I paid attention to another mage who's using a different rotation than me and had nearly the same amount of MATK as me. We were doing pretty much the same damage throughout but at the end I noticed that the other mage started battle while I still had 20sec left on my res timer. No balens were used by either of us.
This would suggest that I get an approx of 2sec delay per fight, which causes me to lose an entire round at the end.

My rotation is as follows:
Thunderer
auto > lightning
auto > RoF
auto > lightning
auto > lightning
auto > RoF

The issue should not be related to lag or network. Got strong enough computer and internet to run it without any issues there.

Yep. I love it.
Earned me #3 at WB today with only vouchers, and despite being EWD mage. TAKE THAT COMPLAINERS!

If done right. Compared to a knight, when I enter 4th round he/she still in late 3rd.
