Why can't we as a guild help donate balens to guild cd

.It seems too unfair to make make one person pay a ridiculous amount of money for guild CD. When most ppl just wait till the CD is cheap and reasonable enough to spend balens on. I find it more profitable for everyone, even if there was a cap on what can be donated ect...
