Mage Armor PVE set question

Is 50 Legend Pve set better for a mage or is lvl 60 normal Pve set better?

Would that one extra socket for gems in 50 legend set make it better than the higher overall stats of 60 normal?

EDIT: If I could get either 50 Legend or 60 Normal in the same amount of time which would you guys recommend me to get?

50 legend is better due to the extra stats. Now with that said if you can get each one in the same amount of time go for 60 normal.

If you dont have 50 set and you are 60+,just start work on 60...but if you are 50+ and think aBout vup and farming 60pve with 55 pvp without rage runes...time to work on 50pve.

If you plan to stay at lvl 50-59 longer, go for set 50 legend.
But, if you plan to keep in lvling, go for set 60 legend.
Why?
Both of this set need a lot of skeleton key to finish.

Level 50 Legend is better, but it doesn't get any better than that. Level 60 Normal is about 200 BR behind each and lack one socket each.

But if it's up to me, I'd go for level 50 Legend, just cause it looks better.

The main reason that i got pve 50:
1. i know about rune sistem will be gone.
2. i can ** up knights in bg up 55k i`m 48k now
3. i can manage solo mage in md nm with the right party (good knight)
