Yea, this part is true.

No matter how "Twink" you are at level 49, 59, etc, you will always lose to level 70+
Even those level 49 Twinks you saw with 35k BR or even 59s with 50+ BR will still lose easily against level 70+.

So yea, Class War basically suggests you to level up pass 65, else you have almost to zero chance of getting into Top 100 in Class War.

At which guarantee you a mount, since even if you lose all fights, you'll still receive 3000 crystals (not to mention the other crystals you have from Prelim)
Mount cost 1250, so if you get 500 crystals from Prelim, you can buy both 1250 mounts.
