Spire and MPDs

Any reason why you are allowed to do spire once only and not help guildies after your attempt is done like MPDS?

Any reason Why you can't choose to use an attempt or not on MPDs so you can help run guildies during the day instead of having to wait till your group does them so you don't waste attempts before you can help?

1 spire attempt is probably so the stronger people can't just run the lower lvl ones through so they get to more bosses.

Not using attempt for mpd is something that I would like to see in the game.
