Not only have you managed to enrage non-cashers, but us cashers as well!

First the anniversary rip-off, an event who enraged both cashers and non-cashers, luring people into buying very large amounts of anniversary chests, each having astronomically small chances to get the mount. As for non-cashers - they were excluded from even having a chance to get the mounts of this event, save for the pig. Then R2 has the nerve to call it a "generous" anniversary event while, in reality, it's one of the worst yet, for cashers and non-cashers alike.

After that comes the 1.66 patch... with the wheel of "give us moar of your money" (aka fate). Very well done. Essentially undermining balens themselves and every penny every single casher has spent until now in other pay2win things, by introducing yet another pay2win system. If that is not greed, then what is it? I won't even mention how large the disadvantage for the non-cashers is by the ridiculous chances and pace they have on the wheel. In the end they will all leave the game and the cashers will follow them.

The most ridiculous thing of all though was... the nerfing of the vouchers . Really, that was the peak of your greed.
(For everyone that hasn't noticed yet the check-in rewards of vouchers and TOA harvest vouchers have been direly reduced).
Didn't you get enough balens from people buying double skills?
Didnt you get enough balens from people attacking world bosses?
Didn't you get enough balens from people upgrading farms?
I won't even mention the imbalances it causes between servers.

Your actions cannot help but remind me, a shop about to close, doing everything it can to get more profit, even while it risks pissing off its regular clients.


Given the disrespect that you have towards your customers and especially how stupid you believe we are,
i'll be damned if you ever get another penny from me, for this, or your future games.

Whereas my other statements are true and i continue to stand by them, a sign of good faith has been shown (vouchers).
This gives me hope that the ones responsible for these changes at least listen to the community and understand the impact more measures such as these would have and refrain from taking them in the future.

Balen prices are the big problem. 1 balen = 1 cent so you need to spend 30 bucks to buy a mount. They would make 10 times more money if they reduced the prices either of the items or the balens. There are millions of free players like me who haven't spent a dime on the game and won't because the prices are too high. If they lowered it I would spend money. If a 30 dollar mount cost 5 instead ya they would lose 25 bucks on the sale. But they'd have a million more sales then they do now and would make tons more money. Why do you think walmart is such a huge company. They sell their products cheap for a little profit and make money on the volume of customers who love the prices. R2 needs to learn more about business.

I agree. R2 bussiness model is to make as much money as fast as they can , but a better bussiness model would to make more money overtime. They need to put a server up that you can't buy anything other then cosmetics without stats, everything is attainable in the game and just charge a monthly fee and see how well that server works out. If it's successful then make another so on and so forth.

In the end, I will do like some earlier posts, stop spending, login to ENJOY my money for a while and perhaps one day then stop coming in altogether ...

I started playing this game last Nov. and have seen many, many players come and go. I no longer buy extras (mounts etc) and simply focus on what I need to buy to keep moving like crypt keys, enough clothing to have some start up rage in pve, that kind of thing. I thank Memory for removing the post, you can't say anything on the forum about the imbalance without being trolled most times I swear some people live here for it.

The problem as I see it is R2's own stated business model is to have games that come on strong, soak players, then die off with the money in their pockets. This is a bad business model because while initially it might make them some money, the players being chased off after being scammed avoid other R2 games like the plague.

Giving players back vouchers was good, and the right thing to do for once (albiet less than they stole), but R2 has to put some serious thought into this "FREE" game as they advertize it. I personally am not even sure the train wreck can be diverted at this point because there is no way to balance the imbalance they have created without offending P2W players and the players that came for the "free" game. At this point cashiers are leaving as well, servers begin with hardly any population, old servers are all but dead with no merge in sight.

So Memory says R2 *is* listening, great! Has the business model changed from rob em and run? Are they now concerned with creating a game that has staying power?

Totally agreed with the TS (thread starter). Since a few months back, it has been like chasing one thing to another. Every other week there will be a NEW (different color only) mount. Beside one mount that is totally free, the rest you have to buy with perhaps 5 to 10k balens. Then they got very greedy on the anniversary event and expects players to pay like 30k balens for that dinosaur mount.

Finally, the wheel of fate, you have to spend like maybe 10 to 15k to get the FIRST aura. Noticed the range? That's because there is no info currently on how many points needed to reach level 5 to get level 1 aura. But now I know the aura can go up to 10 levels, which means what? 5m balens? lol

There is also some ridiculous talent whereby you WILL be stunned 3 rounds by older servers. I AM not a player of one of the older server and therefore will be screwed for life. On top of everything, clicking the astral is hardwork by itself. Think one needs 200k points for level 10 astral.

When I saw they actually revert vouchers back to normal because it was a 'bug' (we all know it wasn't lol), I'm sensing they realise they will have to be more reasonable.
I hope they also read alot of the other topics when it comes to the Anniversary Event, and 'fix' that one with the next event.
