Class Wars Prelims - bugg; fix it please ... QQ thread

I'm here to QQ abit...
How are we supposed to come up with a solid strategy if the rules are tricking you?
Check out these next screenshots. Also recorded the whole event but won't post the vid on here yet. Screenshots provide enough proof already.

If you can't see the numbers I point out on the screenshots, copy the picture, paste it on paint and use the zoom button

Here's a screenshot of the rules. Note my HP is 66209



Obviously sais the player with the lowest br will win when both players have same % hp. Right? Or did I go completely nuts?

Now check out my br, it said so on the previous ss too but I guess you can see it here aswell: 82,192



And this is Sylvester's battlerating at the time of the battle: 86,543




Now check this out: a Screenshot of the last I saw of Sylvester. I think in the middle of the screen it obviously sais FAILURE
And take a look at my hp: 66209 This means i'm at 100% hp as 66209/66209 x 100 = 100%. You don't see Sylvester's hp but that is irrelevant as you can not win to someone with max hp while he is lower br than you.



I think this is proof enough no?

Or am I completely missing something here?

maybe u used more pots that dont reflect to ur Br in that list? ....or bad translation

I can only guess that the hp percentage might be recorded a bit earlier than the failure message, and you got a suntoria tick in the end? Otherwise whoever hit last would always win in close battles.

Is that ss of sylvester's BR after the prelims? It says wager so I'm just assuming it's after prelims were over. It might be possible that he had lower BR when he fought you and used pots & scrolls by the time you take that ss. I'm not too familiar with when you can look at others' BR during CW so what I said could be wrong, but if it's not, then that's a possible explanation.

you sure they count by unbuffed BR?

I have no idea how this systems work... need an Admin to confirm it.

The only reasons I can think of is
1 - there is a bug that skips the actual BR check and just picks a random winner.
2 - there is a bug that causes it to count maximum hp instead of %.
3 - You somehow got the last heal in too late becauseof timer being off. Think BG timers where the bg most of the time don't start counting or ending at the actual mark.

i think that lower br thing meant higher br so i think they made a mistake.. but idk tho

nope it has nothing to do with potions/scrolls.
I've had the exact same thing happen to me today against George7. Max HP - lose
his BR is always much higher than mine. buffed or unbuffed... all his stats are (just had a lucky/well timed heal).

I still got into the finals... But it'll be good to know how that thing works before those

You got the last heal in at the 29 seconds mark.

The result is taken the 30 second mark.

If you battle so long that neither player dies by the end of the mark, the winner will be that player with the highest HP...So does Sylverster have higher hit points than you?

It says higher % of HP, not higher value of HP.

IE: 100% HP vs 99% HP

NOT: 75000 HP vs 80000 HP

100% vs 100%, higher hp wins.

Pretty sure you knew this since last edition though where you beat neko in that way, that's where I learned of it anyway

But yea, the help text should probably be edited.

I agree. I don't think changing the tooltip requires much effort.
