Not everyone has thousands of balens to throw away to end those several-weeks-long cooldowns, so why not let people chip in by partially reducing the cooldown? Like, pay 25 balens to reduce it by 1 hour, so its more of a guild effort and not relying on someone to be rich enough.

But I'd guess the official R2 thought is for 25 balens the whole guild could watch a couple videos and do it completely free and R2 doesn't get to molest a CC card.My name itself is a flame...sweeeeeet! awesome! epic!
