not much of a disadvantage really....

the boost is % based of your academy stats... that means the higher your level, the better your academy, the better the boost.
in arena you face opponents of a similar lvl range (so long as the matchmaking is working)...
in bg, again its broken into brackets. so long as you make sure your in the right "bracket", should be a non issue.

point im trying to make is,
    - at the start, you wont be facing monsters (high level guys with massive br) so you will have plenty of time to farm kyanites.
    - because academy stats for new players will be low, the % boost will also be low,, (200% of nothing is still nothing)
    - because the majority of the pvp fights are bracket based, all you need to do is get to the maximum level of your bracket (34, 39, 44, 49, 54, 59, 64, 69) max your academy and get the most from the buffs at said lvl, if you face a lvl 59 guy and you are lvl 55, he will have a slight advantage over you. providing his academy stats are maxed to 59, and yours are maxed to 55.

from my experience (1 day) seems like the 200% buff is obtainable by spending 14k kyanite. so its not really difficult to get. especially if you get to the top of your bracket, max out academy stats, and sit at that level to increase talents. (this could, of course, be a bug in the bless system that could be amended at a later date)

the only real place i can see this causing a big disadvantage to lower level players is in class wars. where fights are based of win-loss ratio, rather than level brackets.

Yes, all stat gain are relatively the same if you're same academy level

However, non-VIP still takes longer to level them up (have long CD) - new players =/= existing slow levelers, if they're slow leveling, they're not new anymore, lol.

The major disadvantage that most ppls are facing is now it takes up to 5 round to clear Troops whereas before you could do it with 1~2

This makes the Mage benefit the most, because Archer and Knight only got 1 AoE and it has a long CD and rage cost.

Mages AoE is like 10 and 15 second that you can switch back and forth (thus eliminating most of the CD time)

And with AoE, mages can wipe out opposing Troops AND Player faster before the opposing can wipe out Mage's Troop to get to the Mage (especially Knights)

you get soul crystals for guild battles, that's at least 90 soul crystals in 1 week, add 10 from various activities and you have 15k kyanite.you need at least level 41 to spin the wheel anyway.

Anichaos, the game developers are all closet mages don't you know that?

It was supposed to be a simple scissors (Archer), paper (Mages), stone (Knights) game... but they forgot to highlight in the website to tell people when we first choose our classes that Wartune's scissors and stones are normal scissors and stones... it's just that the "paper" in this game are made of invulnerable materials which breaks all the "scissors" and powders all the "stones" around them.

All of us can ask/complain/rant all day, but they (game developers) will still insist "no no no" its a FAIR scissors paper stone game.

                  Bull **** game imbalances...
