Less server chat spam

Can less server side chat be reduced a lot?

Things like when players move to a new zone for the first time and less advertising for vip / game hints.

Also a way to disable when friends log in somewhere in the settings.

Being able to turn off selective chats, including friends/system tips, would be great.
