Crit Mage Tests

My stats:
72 lvl mage / 23 k matk/ 4300- 4600 critical / lvl 7 determination / lvl 5 survival
yesterday first bg = with 4500 crit > crit heals = 7 restoration crit heals 40-60k heal / 2 bl heals = 45-60k heal
second bg = 4300 crit > 3 restoration crit heals 30-55k / 0 bl heals

From what i observed the perfect crit ratio is at x.5 for all aspects (wb/pvp/pve)

My goal is to reach 5.5k crit atm.

28.oct first bg.
crit 4400 > 3 crit heals > 40 -55k.
second bg.
crit 4350 > 3 crit heals > 40-60k.

i try different crit values for optimal crit healing. i`ll post soon wb hits (sadly atm i do those in afk ) and full bg crit hit with different crit values.

Wb afk 28 oct 2nd boss crit settings > 4336 + voucher / no pots/ no scrolls

Hmm...interesting i want try this but atm i can get 3500 crit with full gem setup...so to low def here for me what rate in dmg skills u get with 4500?

I am testing two setups right now...1: EWD mage with determine for crit healing 2: Ruthlessness for healing. have you tried EWD and determine to see if this allows you to have crit heals and have the ewd for damage dealing?

with ewd you can`t make crit heals .. neither with ruth ... you are wasting you time

Some of the mages in the thread suggested it, but i dont have a high enough natural crit to find out if this is true or not...I am a full EWD mage so i refined out all crit stat from gear. The premise seems sound, but untested... that crit for healing is independent so determine would help scale up heals, and EWD would effect only crit for damage. Mages like yourself are in a position to prove of disprove this, is why i entered your thread.

So far running test 2: with ruthlessness, only. no ewd and no crit. results have been good so far, this is heal only spec. I'll let you know more about this when i have run more. (SPIRE, MoonNM and 100 EYE in crypt test locations)

ewd cancels crit so you can`t have a crit heal ) . ewd heal will remain the same even at lvl 10 .. only if you increase matk it will increase the heal also .. you notice when you have driad in bg? that you heal higher? that is because you have higher matk.

Hmm...i make lil calculation and with full crit rafine + v8 sniper (after i sacrofice my wd) + 2 v6 crit gems i can get around 4.5k crit, if its enaught for 70-80% rate ...sounds like rly nice option this make my def a bit lower but profits can be a lot better

Did a little bit of test and went 4.5k on my 57 mage. Rate is around 40% if you ask me.

4k+ crit is rare even for 70+ mages thats why this is intresting me to see it after u post that

when i`ll change the servers i`ll post this on my blog too .. i have more freedom there to add excel like posts.
