    Based on the formula above:
    5100 crit - 92.196% chance to crit
    4200 crit - 87.76% chance to crit

That only gives 4.4% better chance to crit, assuming the formula is correct. This may be why you aren't noticing much difference.

Hahaha, so I removed 2k mdef, for 4.4 percent of critting? WHAT A JOKE.

is it better to remove mdef or hp? for archer? currently i am using mdef, pdef, patk and crit... but i see all top archers sacrificing mdef for crit. still just an IC need some more bg

Mdef, because it has no use in Class Wars .

0 Crit can provide crits unless they have a Astral disabling it.
            This formula is bullcrap...
            From the chinese website :
Every character has 5% natural chance of blocking and critting and then its (block rate / 100)

Source? Would like to take a read and see how valid the source is.

I'm pretty sure that's incorrect, my block rating has be at 10 since last May and I haven't had a single block since then, not one. The chance for the Mage skill focus to activate is 5% and I notice that frequently.

Fact:- nobody actually knows how crit or block work, otherwise there would have been a formula before now.

R2 has steadfastly refused to even give a hint of how the formula's work, so everything is just guess work for now.
You never know when some mathematical genius will work it out and publish their findings

the truth is R2 doesn't know actual formula, I think the basic formula which mentioned is correct, BUT there are many condition in code to make actual crit outcome vary, for example, the actual crit outcome of one level 77 player must be different from one level 55 player with the same crit rate.

As I knew, player level, player battle rate, the opponent level, the opponent battle rate all impact on the actual crit outcome, so it is hard to calculate it.
