Jewel Hunt: Most Point Move = 100?

Since the 500-1000 and so on treasure chests always give full rewards (everything that is listed for them) I always aim for the 500 one even though I have to sacrifice some moves in order to make high score combos. I prefer 100% chance of getting 10 fate stones ,compared to x% chance of getting something else. Of course the lucky star is also a big factor in getting 500 points.

Generally, i'd say less moves for lesser combos...but if you can get a 5+3 within 5 moves or so it can be worth it...those chests are nice

I always do few moves, and see if I can get little more out of it by tactics, more chance that way. I sometimes get an extra chest without realising it that way .

Once those top 2 fell down it gave a straight 150 points(+ a 10 from a secondary 3x1), but didnt even get a chest from it...slightly miffed about that ^^ Reward this time was 5 whips and 1 runestone

so, which way did you feel was better?

many moves for big points?

or

few moves for smaller points?

Are you certain you always get the same rewards if you make the same move?

no, not the same.

i figure there's got to be better rewards for more difficult setups. rewards are random from a list (who knows where) but the comma shows u what u can get but is definitely not complete

10 moves of 10 points not as good as a couple moves for 100 pointer, etc, all depends

chain reward sequences are random so can't manipulate to much gain

after 3 moves to get the gems in place i had this today:

thats 150 points + some more from chains. but it counts as 100(blue)+50+(red)+... so i guess the highest points u can get at once is still 100 (5x3). but im not sure what would happen in a situation like this:

z is a random different color here. if you let x disappear, the 4 o at top would fall down and there would be 10 gems of the same color together but no idea how it would count points then or if they would be destroyed all at once

Yesterday, after reset, i get 1 fate stone everytime i blast 4×1 jewels... but it didn't gave me anymore fate stone after getting it 8 times.

Instead, I got refinement lock on my 9th blasting of 4×1 jewels.

according to the formula the 4x3 will give u 6 locks already, and 4x4, 8 locks.

i think he meant 4+3:
