amethyst mining abuse

this amethyst mining is great but being abused by some. 3 or more people without carts continuously attacks someone with cart. there should be limitations or restrictions about it. it should only be those with carts that can attack someone else with a cart. if a player doesnt have cart, he shouldnt be able to attack or be attacked.

i was also informed that if i did not dump my cart before 2130 even if i got them before within 2100-2130, i wont get the double. that's cruel and unfair for low levels. if i were a high level bully, i will dump my carts immediately right after 2100 and then atack and atack someone until 2130 passes!? isnt this too much abuse?

Only a fool"High lvl" will dump his carts fast, and only then attack. most will attack you while they have carts to get the bonus Amethyst

I have a perfect solution to the problem (not that the GMS would apply it..) remove the pvp in the amethyst mines entirely. and just let players mine to a full cart

Keep in mind that someone without a cart killing another player with a cart will make you lose amethyst still.

If you've got some strong friends ask them to give you backup. Or have a good-sized group from your guild take turns escorting each other through, and use the ability to attack even if you have no cart to your advantage. The escort group attacks the raiders and buys time for the cart group to dump, then they switch places. This is a multiplayer game, so take advantage of it.

where's the consequence for the attacker if they lose? we lose honor honor in BG for losing the match,... there should be consequences too for losing match in this amethyst mine. And that will only be possible if the loser also has a cart with amethyst in it.
So for fairness, a player must have a cart with amethyst in it to be able to attack and be attacked.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support there being a need for some rules and restrictions added, right now the event is a joke and creating so much drama. Haven't seen so much caps lock, censor and whatnot in world chat for a while now lol.

Personally I think one attack per person would be a good limitation, maybe allow a second attack for a SECOND cart. So if you have no cart you can't attack anyone OR be attacked by anyone. This also prevents the derp misclicks which often happen by some people.

This is a pvp game. Deal with pvp or quit that simple. Pvp is perfectly fine just the people who abuse it like this are wrong. Really boggles my mind you guys dislike the fishing and jewel games and say you want more pvp action instead. Then when w get pvp events you complain about that as well. What will satisfy you?

Again this is a pvp game. Why make things so easy with being attacked only once and that's it. That takes away the whole point of pvp. Adding a cd of 5-10 sec after each fight is what is best to do. Making you only attack onc and thats it is dumb. This is a pvp game and this is the only pvp game where I see people complaining about pvp.


Oh and another thing they should do to help avoid attacking guildies or friends. Is make this cross server like BG. That way you don't have to worry about running into people you don't want to attack.

PvP is fine and all, but wasting time on people without amethyst/carts is just pointless. At least in GA/BG you don't waste time, you just fight people and still get what you're supposed to get. In Gold Rush it should be either you win amethyst or you lose amethyst, not chance to get amethyst or to lose amethyst. Chance sucks when it comes to games like this.

thats non stop attack to 1 character very annoyng. espessially if top guild do this for top players from others guild. Just non stop atcking 20-30 times mage with iris and heal heal heal. They MUST add few more seconds cooldown after fight like on bg, to be able move away from that peoples. Now thats cd may be 3-5 seconds... most of that time going to loading after fight.

Really sucks when you have terrible lag. By the time the fight "finishes" you're already in another one. Lol...

gold rush is now only for high br players...like 70+...normal br low levels cannot make it from 50-70.........better i suggest all leave this ****** event..i m attacked 10 times by 80 br...even they had no cart

you can talk like this maybe becoz u not experienced the case im dealing with, 4-5 people with low level alt and no hp pack surround me and attacking me one after another, they dun have the guts to use their main char coz they know they cant beat me fair and square and using the alt instead, even with 10 sec cd this not going to solve the issue.
