that guy probably had higher Honor than you, maybe u are crusader and he was lord divine or something.

You're dryad bombing(gathering dryad boosts) and the guy who you finally killed is most likely a higher honor rank than you. When you kill people with higher honor ranks, you gain more honor and they may lose more if they're crusader or higher.
