Farm experience?

Is the experience limit you gain for your farm random? I thought I read somewhere it was 200 a day but one day I kept farming beyond 200 and never stopped getting experience, today it seemed like I only got about 50 before I stopped getting exp? Was this to make up for the previous day exp or is daily experience just random?

The daily max should be 200 everyday. not more, not less.

but you can gain some more by taking care of your own farm..
