since the mages are already the 'masters' of aoe they dont really need apollo or fire sylph. But they do lack strong single target spells .

floating damage is a gambling skill which i avoided and I suggest you do the same

Floating damage is something everything has; it's your minimum and maximum damage, sometimes you hit a low point and other times a high point. The skill can increase your floating damage = increase your minimum and maximum. Basically making it like another ruthlessness astral. Best skills for Gaia would be Unstable Voltage passive and Jupiter's Wrath and Flash Storm actives. Master of Thunder would be acceptable as well, though if you're low on balens the first three should be more of a priority imo.

there is not really a best sylph for any class. Best is the one u prefer and the one u cashed most on. One sylph mostly only good against 2 classes. While both patack and mattack sylph can do alot damage to archer since none of there defs really high compared to knight or mage cause of there passives.

Best sylph for mage:

Against knights, archers, WB, pve bosses: Gaia

Against other mages: Amazon Queen

Group arena: Iris with raindance
