Cashing and Cashers:

When People complain about "cashers" all I can imagine is.

Taking someone with you on a trip "paying for everything" and because you are in first class and they are in coach they complain and call you names.

Just makes me laugh to imagine these scenarios in RL and how people in RL differ to keyboard warriors on the net.

So true, and they insinuate that everyone who spends cash on the game is down to their last dime and gambles that away for one more hit on Wartune.

You've made a couple of interesting points. Now please explain why it's OK to use the term casher as an insulting word with nasty connotations? Yet I'm not allowed to insult people here based on race, gender, ethic origin, faith or mental capability. Why should how much cash I may or may not have spent be any different?

Because within the law, casher doesn't have anything to do with race, gender, ethnic origin, faith or mental capability; and isn't a threat or endanger your life and so forth with the limits of freedom of speech. And there's no inherent negative connotation with the word "casher".

In terms of POV, cashing is much like driving as in the perspective is relative. The standard categories are people who spend less than me, people who spend about the same, and people who spend more than me. From the non-cashers view, there is no one spending less than them. So it becomes people who spent about the same as them and the people who spent more than me. This breaks down nicely to non-cashers and cashers.

I guess you could say there really is a distinction between the cashers and the ones who spend thousands a week or more. But I think that is more of an exception and they're viewed at an individual level than a group.

There are only a few ppl that i have seen spend a Thousands + a week on this game and good for them if thats what makes them happy :P.

I'm personally not a casher, haven't put a penny into the game. I enjoy it as it is... I personally think what cashers do is their own damn business, no reason to judge. You're using hard earned money for your own fun, since when is that ever wrong? People just like to complain, and when they can't win or something against a casher, they just start saying they "cheat" and such.
I say just ignore them, just people who get way too hung up on this kind of stuff.

Common misconception. You're not "paying for everything". It's more like they paid for their own tickets and you decide to buy the seats next to them and hired two of the most annoying people to sit there and mess with them. Then you complain that they're calling you names.

don't see resemblance between those 2 comments but I do take my friend to more places than my wife have many in common thing with my friend wife is different than friend(and she is there for other uses) so bad compare on ur part

I disagree. If I complain about (for example) damned <insert foreign nationals here> taking British employment prospects, in England, I'd rightly be called a racist. And ban-able from this forum. There is no inherent threat to their livelihood or well being.

I don't see this as much different from 'damned cashers taking the places of non cashers.'

Late in reply to say, i am no casher, i just happen to randomly lose money and it randomly shows up on this game, seems to happen a lot :P
