  • Guild battle chariots quick question

Is a chariot's damage affected by ownership of mystery towers? Such as if the other guild owns 3 towers will the chariots damage be reduced by 50%? Really looking for an answer from Condor or Ginger or someone such as that so i know for sure the answer is true. Thanks in advance

AFAIK, no it is not affected by how many towers you control.

Any idea how chariots can instantly dmg a ward tower after being summoned and without entering combat with someone?

in my last gb my guild had less than 600 points after the first charriot for some reason ... Shall I take it that it is a bug same as when the charriot dissapears 2 seconds after it is summoned as whispir described?

hmm ok well the reason i ask is because my guild lost a battle 1829-205 but they used 3 chariots and we used none. so my assumption was that we would have won if not for their 3 chariots but the other guild claimed that since we held 3 towers their first chariot only did 50% dmg. As far as i know also, towers have nothing to do with chariot dmg but i figured i would ask anyway. If anyone knows for sure or knows a way to find out other than testing it during a gb please let me know

Edit: now that i think about it it doesn't make sense because that would mean owning 3 or more towers would give boosted dmg and points which i have definitely never seen. So by that logic it would stand to reason that owning less towers would not make a chariot do less dmg. Oh and btw ty Condor for replying so quickly

Guild Battle Chariot is like a walking monster, you can attack it to prevent it from reaching enemy base (it does not go all the way to the base, but you get my point)
If you attack it and lose, it will instantly deal dmg to enemy ward tower. If you attack and win, you will destroy it.

              Not quite true.

It's about timing, if chariot is summoned immediately after the points message, a noobling attacks it and dies chariot will still roam towards ward (have seen it happen and engaged it after someone already lost to it)

Same applies in reverse - if chariot is summoned a certain amount of time before the points message and no one attacks it it will strike immediately in most cases/right as points are being posted.

Last guild I was GM of I tried to time all chariots prior to points to avoid enemy chariot killers, worked about 90% of the time, sometimes timing was off or their attackers were quicker and there's always lag to worry about.

dont give him ideas ..... chariot is bugged thats why u say 90%. i mostly notice the other 10% when they fire it and i dont get no way chance to grab it -it just instan dmgs our ward no one even sees it . Testing ur theory next friday and will re-edit if needed .

From my experience, the amount of towers controlled may affect the time response of Chariot's damage.

alts?rofl not even close...chriots atacks every 30 sec so if you summon chariot one sec before the 30 sec is done after one sec chariots does instant dmg, best way to save chariot from being destroyed ^^ but lag can mess timing

i escort the chariot once it's summoned, it usually appears a few seconds after summoning just after (summoning ward tower). You can then run ahead of it (meaning it's not immediate), then it disappears just before the enemy ward. There's so much lag in GB that time may appear different/instantly depending on who/where you are
