please close this thread because first the answer is simply it does not matter, when your slyph change colour, ALL MAX STAT will increase and hence even when you put spe in previously to max useless stat, as the MAX stat available increase, there are availble points for you to put spe to go into that useless stat.
2nd, when you upgrade you maintain all spe and whatever you have contributed to your own slyph, nothing is removed in anyway .
