    and pretty sure as technology increased, the needs for memory increased too. remember how floppy disk (1.44MB) was huge in the 90's? Or how early 90's notebook has 2MB ram?

      Quad core does not really help, as flash does not have much of a multi thread potential...muchos fast ram and ssd main drive, and processor speed does help though...you are better off with a 3ghz dualcore than with a 2ghz quad for example
