You do realize that there is the possibility that people join a guild because most of their friends are there. You don't have to like a G.M. to join, you can like the guild itself, like the people in it. Maybe a lazy G.M. is just now interfering with their guild lives, like a diseased limb on a body. If the infection gets too bad, one must amputate the limb. If the G.M. gets too lazy, they need to be removed.
