For some, winning means to beat only 2-3 particular people.

What does winning mean to you? What is the definition of winning?

In my definition, winning at wartune means enjoying yourself playing the game WITHOUT paying any cash to do so.

Does it mean that winning does not have a universal definition?

Well we have to first differentiate between what is winning and what is just being sucessful. They arent the same thing.

I assume that in every competition, there is a champion, a first runner up and a second runner up. So winning a competition means to be the champion.

My assumption, however, seems to be wrong.

All you need to do is to make up your own definition as you go along. Then you are always 100% right.
