Map Bonus

Any1 know is it only luck or you must find exacly mark on the map to get that bonus, we tryed many times die on same map spot and get bonus but it didnt work, any has some advices for that? ;d btw 3 times i even didnt got to fight boss just got reward(without bonus). thanks in advance!

It's luck, but higher rarities seem to be luckier, at least as far as I could see.
