Mage with spamming crit or Matk, which is better?

I have been wondering spam magic attack or critical, which is better? For a mage of course..

attack of course, critical mage meaning you will be relying on your luck to crit
attack is more reliable you will be doing stable dmg everytime you use your skills

As a mage, I use an astral that completely disables my crit and just increases damage percentage. Works very well

I go with Matk and am looking to increase my floating damage with an astral to go along with my disabled crit.

does soul of grace/ will destroyer affect healing skills as well?
