If knights are at such a disadvantage in PvE compared to the other classes, then how come that 7 of the top 16 in EU servers are knights?

Thats almost 50% of the top players, playing as knights.
If the disadvantage's from poor PvE abilities are so debilitating, then surely the knight class would be dying at the top of the tree.

Top 100 cross server BR rankings = 31 knights 28 archers 41 mages.

So the class with the best slow down effect for PvE is the most lightly populated in the top 100, you can draw your own conclusions from that.
