Same can be said about the US team. It's only recent that they became decent, but no-where near Germany, Brazil, or Spain quality.

idk why you put the us team here, im not an american....but thats not the question. The thing is the football is invented in England, Premierleague claims to be the strongest competition, UK teams spend a lot and win cups from time to time etc etc, and when it comes to WC or EC England is back home with the 1st plane
