Yes it is unfair. I don't think previous rewards for lv4 stable had 2k whips.

Are they just wording it weirdly? I couldn't do the mount tamer events so I wouldn't know for sure, but it has the same wording and it re-used mounts from last month. If people could redeem mount tamer rewards last month and again this time around, I would assume the same could happen for this whip event. If not or if someone from oceanic can confirm, excuse me.

There's no more lv.3 stable rewards...

Just like what happened to Gems, no more lv.3 and lv.4.

Stable next time will be lv.5 minimum reward.

As lv.5, 6, 7, and 8 (current cap)...

I can see the future.

(except you can only obtain each stable level reward once... which means you have to choose which event you want to use it on)



Which kinda screws over new players, just as Gems did... since most new players can only obtain level 5 and above gems if you cash (by new player, I mean less than 1~3 month old servers, which most people aren't pass 55 yet or clear Cata 100)
Not like 1 month old servers gets these events anyways... judging by all the threads and posts about new servers not getting events or exchanges, etc.

im pretty sure i already claimed lvl 4 stables last event and now i can claim it again. maybe they meant for future events? if you claim now, then next event you cant.
whatever it is, this event is a great one. but as usual, there will be someone who will complain again.

40mins to see for myself but damn hope that's true... a 10x increase in rewards is just damn steep for an event that previously wasn't even labeled as a one-off thing.

660 gem packs, single open. About 74 lvl 3 gem packs (server was going nuts opening packs, so it was hard to count. might have missed 1 or 2)
200 gem packs, auto open. Only 15 lvl 3 gem packs.
800 gem packs, 93 or so lvl 3 gem packs.

Lesson here...single open seems to pay off far better than auto open. Suffer through some sore fingers and you should get some better rewards.

I think this is mostly known for most events. Just another recent test to show more results.

Auto open on 1.6k packs gave about 11-12% lvl3 gems for me.
