I agree that crit rate is affected by level difference.
Once you're lvl. 80, 6-7k crit is fine.

Impornant note for mages: Guardian Angel astral does decrease chance of critical heal on the target. (Yes, tested plenty of times. If it still doesn't convince you, talk to DanteMugetsu or JBird from EU servers).

EDIT: Typo, wrote Goddess Blessing instead of Guardian Angel

i too confirm that you get more crit heals if you ditch guardian angel and not goddess blessing, (caballero is confused on the speed of typing). as for 10k crits i wont bother, i find it that when u are on +500 of crit stat (ie 9785, 8931 etc) you crit more than when are on -500 stat (ie 10002, 10320 etc) it should be just my imagination, but since we get no solid info about anything in this game i just go with my hunch!

I was giving an examples of non-archers who have 10kish crit.

And I meant Guardian Angel, not Goddess Blessing ofc

The higher your opponent is in level compared to your own, the less chance you have to crit. So yea maybe if you're level 60 and have 10k+ crit while fighting vs level 80 player you won't have problems critting. But as level 80 vs level 80 even 6-7k is plenty.
Mages/knights are originally designed for EWD. That said, mages and knights will need to work extra hard to reach the lvl 80 10k crit soft cap. 6-7k crit is pretty bad when fighting lvl 80 monsters. This fact is easily recognized when trying to crit lvl 80 map bosses with 6-7k crit. Archers are designed for crit and as such get 20% more crit from their passive skills. This 20% passive is not worthless but is in-fact very useful and will help archers attain the 10k crit soft cap much faster than the rest. My info comes from Wartune China. If anyone has any doubts, they're welcome to go there and check out the crit ratings of some of those top players. But don't dismiss useful info just because you "think" it's wrong. Do some research first...

I totally Disagree with u, first knight and mages not designed for EWD as china players ''every single one'' plays crit build. 2nd my toon is knight lv 70 and i have 5840 crit and in CW/cross arena(playing with lv80 guildee) i am playing vs 80s alot and i simply do as much as i do on others 70+ maybe i am not accurate but the simple fact that u will never have ''100%'' chance to hit all of em crits..as i noticed so far i am between 60-70% and even that there will be a pop up cases like doing all my hits crit and other days it goes to the grave.

                  I did the research.
99% of Chinese top players are using crit build.
Top EU players are using crit build as well and there are at least a few mages/knights with 10k+ crit.

                  I'm a mage.
With 6.7k crit on lvl. 80 I do crit lvl. 80 map bosses pretty often.
Of course, archers get worse gems/refines/astral and have at least similar crit value as I do a nd they were designed for crit. It doesn't mean though, other classes shouldn't use crit build, especially as crit build is much more effective than EWD.
When I meet EWD mage with my BR, I'm sure I'm about to win this, because my delphic can 1-shoot such mage. EWD mage's delphic can drop my HP by 60-70%.
Of course, I don't always crit my delphic (happens rarely that I hit none of 2 Hades' delph hits), but then I usually crit with some other skill which deals 80-100kish dmg to my BR mage (with +50% dmg buff which comes after 1 min. of the fight).

As I did plenty of tests on similar BR friend (also lvl. 80), my crit rate is around 40-45% (interesting, no matter if my friend used Guardian Angel or not. That astral is still a mistery for me, but at least I know, it radically decreases the chance to crit heal myself).

I think you misunderstood me. I said they were originally designed for EWD. Also, I never said you should be using EWD as you presume in your reply; however because of the fact that they were originally designed for EWD (ie, no 20% crit passive), you will have to build as much crit as you can to reach the level 80, 10k crit soft cap. Your 6.7k crit is bad, as much as you want to believe that it's good enough, it's not. You need to push upwards of 10k once you reach level 80 in order to crit 2/3 of the time on level 80 monsters/bosses. And if you had done the research, you would have seen many high br mages/knights in China are above 10k crit. They're not doing this because they should have stopped at 6-7k crit.. they're doing it because 6-7k crit is not good enough for them. If it's not good enough for them, why are you so adamant that it's good enough for you?

Their crit keeps getting higher because 1) Higher gems since playing longer and 2) they have the 2nd Critical Astral which hasn't been released for English yet and won't be till sometime September or October more than likely which at max is another 2880 Crit. His 6.7k that Caba mentioned would then be 9580 Crit and I'm sure he doesn't have lvl 10 Sniper's yet anyway there's room to go. Players will always have room to go and will keep on increasing their stats. Also passives are there to make the characters unique to each one. Mages, Knights, and Archers can always be crit whenever they want. Only class that can't use EWD is Archer because of their rage gain, that's the only limitation nothing has ever stopped a knight or mage from going crit even when the game was originally released. You do damage you can be crit build. Want to heal higher go crit build.

Are you AntiApartheid's alt account or something? You're comparing China Wartune to this western version? Just give it a rest pls.

                          1) I've never said, I'm gonna stop on 6.7k crit. Of course, 10k is my goal, for now. And it's obvious, you'd never have enough crit.
                          2) Like I said, I did the tests and my crit rate is slightly above 40% on my level and BR enemies (lvl. 80, 140kish).
                          3) In mpds (Nirvana NM, Spire, Sky Trail, Necropolis) I defenitely crit more than 60% of the time.
