Ignore.

In ST your res crystals = your defense. So if you use gaia you make your electro res as high as possible = it applies to all bosses (boss type don't matter, but for electro/wind you do less dmg so most that have switch to Hades)

I did ST for quest without blessing wheel and equipment, its a large enough drop in defense (pdef/mdef) = no difference, just die faster due to lack of HP

yes i knew that about res i also tried that without blessing/equip/astrals vs full def and felt no difference. but someone said bosses would have like 200k+ atk so that could explain it too. you wouldnt notice the difference that easily with only +-10k def

Regeneration has a % chance, PDEF astrals adds your stats permanently. You wont gain very much if you get 50k HP when your pdef is low as a knight (higher damage taken from archers, knights)

I would actually drop Willpower were I you.
Those extra 2k MDEF doesn't make such a big deal with all those enormous Gaia/Hercules sylphs and resistances are the most important.
Instead, you would get a chance to heal for 50k HP, which is a lot.

PDEF you will need not to receive to much damage in pre-sylph form

The slow? out of 5 thunderers, I only slowed once. The Regeneration astral kept proccing over and over. At one point I had 7k hp left while awakened. My Hades life leech crit and healed me for 70k, and the Regeneration healed for an additional 50k.

I killed 2-10 in Sky Trail long time ago. I had 133-135k BR (on pots/scrolls), used Hades and Thund's slow triggered a few times. Also, I got lucky with Illusion in the end where both the boss and me needed just 1-shoot to be killed
Never fought it since then, as I got "S" assesment on that try

i dont know if anyone noticed but the cap of this astral is now 50k. Before it used to be 5k i think..

With a PDEF of 25k and a MDEF of 29k, would it make sense to replace my level 7 MDEF and PDEF astrals (2016 DEF each) with Illusion and Regeneration? Permanently? I am a 152k BR mage and my astral choice is currently MDEF PDEF CRIT BLOCK MATK Goddess Determination Guardian Angel...

Suggestions?

In my humble opinion if you should replace just one DEF astral I would get rid of the MDEF astral. Mages have high MDEF. It isn't magical attacks that really hurt us - not even in class wars where the money punches are almost always delivered by PATK sylphs.

Pretty much. You lose a lil Mdef, but gain a chance of a big heal on attacks. A good trade-off in my opinion.
