    started a topic Resistance crystals?

    Resistance crystals?

Hmm.. Quick question, has anyone got a more or less approximative calculation of how the resistance gems work? (% damage reduced?)
The other day in team arena, I was with another knight. We have about the same BR and the same mdef. I had an Amazon Queen and he had an Iris.
I have no water res crystals (yeah.. I always go all awesome in synth things events XD). We faced a purple Iris, its delphic did a whooping 70k crit damage to me. Second time it did ~80k. The other knight took ~20k damage from the same delphs..on crit too..lol (we fought them twice). Sounds like a huge difference, for not so much res gems. Made me want to do maps daily XD

So.. Any guess? Any thoughts? Now i'm never gonna miss maps again nor go all awesome in synth res crystal things ><

would be interesting to see how players can tell when their next opponent will be using hercules/Ceberus/Eve/Athena/Medusa/Triton in CW and change the resist crystals accordingly...sooner or later they'll meet against someone who's gonna be able to out dmg their heals while being similar in stats but winning solely due to having the advantage in element...

    Who says they using gaia?

Having said that i agree with the rangelaeyes, using hades like that is totally satisfying!!

I honestly love fighting iris users with my hades. It's just so satisfying to cut any potential heal in half, or outright troll the poor noob and steal the heal. Or even quickly reverting to chaos rune the poor sap to troll the heal. However I do have my manners and I do thank whoever it is I'm fighting that heals me.

You wouldnt fight with iris and no stack RES crystals, so they are probably more powerful since the RES crystals came in.

Plus, Iris sucks in CW xD

150% as in extra 150%(total 250%) damage or extra 50%(total 150%) damage? if it's the former then of course no one can survive gaia/hercules delphic unless on special circumstances.
as for your case, it seems you only fought someone who only plays defensively. which is very bad on pvp since the damage is multiplied over time.

and your scenario didnt involve the knight attacking. remember i said a crit knight i was facing? yes, he deals a lot of damage too.
it's very annoying when he blocked my delphic for 90k damage then he simply heals next turn, then followed by his delphic shaved more than half of my hp.

    2x same result

Results vary from player to player but in the long run in a majority of cases it won't help you against gaia/herc users. Hence it really is a gamble.
