So there are tabs for different chat filters. Seems like the system information doesn't get filtered and its annoying. Loss of party/guild chat because System information (ie farm being weeded, r2 announcements, players hitting 50 in cata, players getting stuff from altar, players getting astrals, etc). This should be an easy fix and if it cant, might as well just remove the tab labeled "System"

+1 for this as it is a problem not being able to remove certain chats from the screen, as I also lose track of guild talk when people weed my crops and my chat gets spamed.
