Wartune Patch Note for 11/21/2012

For the next two weeks its a quest to get the elusive White Alpaca mount. Specific activities will get you Star Shards, which you can then turn into to get a Lost Treasure. Lost Treasures will contain White Alpaca jigsaw pieces. Get 30 pieces and turn in for the mount!

This week’s Wartune server maintenance also includes the following updates:

• Three new mounts are now available. The Shadow Steed and Ruby-Eyed Steed may be purchased in the Shop for just 1995 Balens each, while the White Alpaca may be exchanged for.
• Legendary equipment names have been slightly altered to avoid confusion.
• The chat channel character input limit has been raised to 100.
• Fixed a number of language and terminology issues.

Thanksgiving Pack

Goal: Reach 80 Devotion and receive a Thanksgiving Pack

Description: Show your devotion by celebrating Thanksgiving with us! Reach 80 Devotion and receive a special Thanksgiving Pack. Open this pack and receive ONE of the following items:

• 70,000 Gold
• 40,000 Daru
• 2,000 Kyanite
• [L5] Voucher Seed x1
• Socketing Rod x1

Star Shard Excahnge

Duration: 11/21 – 12/06 23:59 Server Time

Description: Exchange your Star Shards and White Alpaca Jigsaw pieces for the following rewards:

• Star Shard x1: 3-5 Rune Pack x1
• Star Shard x3: Lost Treasure x1
• White Alpaca Jigsaw x30: White Alpaca Card x1

You can exchange your Star Shards by clicking the Exchange button on the upper right hand corner of the screen:

3-5 Rune Pack: Contains 1 level 3-5 Rune.

Lost Treasure: Open this to randomly receive 1 to 3 White Alpaca Jigsaw pieces, as well as one of the following items:

• Insigna x50
• Crypt Tokens x30
• Enhanced Bounty Scroll x5 (Provides 1 [orange] bounty quest)
• Lvl 4 Crystaloid x10
• Lvl 5 Crystaloid x 10
• Lvl 4 Gem Pack
• Rose x 999

White Alpaca Card: A card which will summon the special White Alpaca mount, which can only be obtained through special events.

Tame Your Mounts!

Duration: 11/21 – 12/5 23:59 Server Time
Goal: Train any of your mounts 5 times to receive rewards

Description: Wondering where you get Star Shards? As luck would have it, your mounts have some hidden away! But they won’t just give it you, no way. Train any of your mounts 5 times and they’ll give you a Star Shard. Just don’t ask where it was hidden. You can complete this quest multiple times!

Rewards: Star Shard x1

Note: You MUST complete this quest immediately after training your mount 5 times in order for the quest to reset. Failure to do this will cause any training after the first five to not be counted towards this quest. So train 5 times, then turn in this quest, then resume training another 5 times in order to turn the quest in again. If you train 10 times without turning the quest in, you will only get credit for the quest once. DO NOT click Advanced Train. Again, you will only get credit for the quest once if you do this.

Warrior's Training

Duration: 11/21 – 11/27 23:59 Server Time
Goal:Challenge 10 times in the Arena (Solo)

Description: Can you face the dark forces on your own? Test your strength and ability by challenging fellow players. Raise your weapon and practice in the Arena before facing the real deal! Challenge 10 times in the Arena (Solo) and receive Star Shard x1.

Rewards: Star Shard x1

Samhain Alchemy

Duration: 11/21 – 12/5 23:59 Server Time
Goal: Use Alchemy 5 times to receive rewards!

Description: The druids believe Samhain, the end of the harvest season, is a time when mystical powers are at their strongest. Use Alchemy 5 times and receive Star Shard x1.
