Wartune Server Merges for 12/04 @ 4:00 AM EST

A server merge is scheduled for Friday, the 4th of December beginning at 4:00 AM EST (1:00 AM PST, 9:00 AM GMT, and 5:00 PM GMT +8). These servers will be down for approximately 2 to 4 hours to allow for adequate testing, but could be longer. Please watch this thread for any updates or changes.

The following servers to be merged are:

East Coast Servers

• S613 and S616 will be merging together.

West Coast Servers

• S289, S292, S296, S301, S329, S334, S360, S364, S373, S382, S385, S396, S399 and S388, S391, S402, S405, S408, S411, S421, S430, S433 will be merging together.
• S610, S614 and S617 will be merging together.

European Servers

• S28, S31, S34, S37, S63, S80, S82 and S172, S175, S178, S181, S226, S229, S233, S236, S240 will be merging together.
• S611 and S615 will be merging together.

Oceanic Servers

• S580, S584, S588, S593, S597, S601, S604, S608, S612 and S618 will be merging together.

In order to avoid the loss of any character information, please refrain from making any new characters on these servers until after the merge has been completed.

To help with potential name conflicts, we will be removing unused characters that fit the following strict guidelines:

• A character must not have logged in within the last 45 days.
• Be under level 12 and their castle must be on the Twilight Coast.
• Have no Balens.
• Have no record of ever recharging.
• Not be in a guild.

Only a character who meets all five of the conditions above will be deleted.

All character data will be preserved (including items, skills, pets, stats, mounts, Gold, Honor, Honor ranking, Daru, Kyanite, Balens, Vouchers, level, Battle Ranking, Academy information, Friend lists, Astrals and VIP statuses). Guild membership, friends and black listed players will be preserved. Current quest progress will also be preserved. The only thing that will change is that all player's Castles will move to Twilight Coast. The Server Rankings list will be cleared, but will repopulate the next time it updates after the merge is complete.

Character Names:

• A character's name will only be changed if characters on different servers have the same name. In that case, the character on the newer server will have -S## added to the end of their name. For Example: RoryWilliams on Boneyard (S17) would be RoryWilliams-S17 after the merge, but only if there was a RoryWilliams on S12.
• Upon logging into your character after the merge, if your name was changed to include -S17, a popup window will open up allowing you the chance to change your name. To continue the example, RoryWilliams-S17 would log in and get a window asking to change his name. He could change it to RoryPond and the -S17 would be removed from his name.

Guild Names:

• A Guild's name will only be changed if guilds on different servers have the same name. In that case, the guild leader of the guild on the newer server will get a popup window upon logging in to change the name of their guild.
• Should the guild leader choose not to change the name of their guild, they will not be able to access their guild interface. Attempts to access the guild interface will only open the name change popup until the Guild's name is changed.
• Guild members will also be unable to access their guild interface until the name is changed.
• After the Server Merge, the Official Website, server names, and login entrance will remain the same. Players will login to their character though their original server. If a player has a character on both servers, you will continue to access the same character associated with a particular server as before the merge.

Merge is a true killing blow to the significant percentage of the server population. Especially since our server (europen S181 etc) still have a lot of active players. I cant tell one positive result of a merge.

World boss dies faster, guild battle is a struggle again, people lose rank in top lists, get less reward in sylph expedition, the miserable ab boss is even more competition, less people make it to chaos wars, harder to find wild boss, your castle gets plundered, etc etc... In the old times, merge was maybe useful to make people spend again to keep on top, but now, it can just make people quit.

comming to Hamster server cluster(Offical Name) so strong types can join Hamster's csgb champ guild=ZeroHour and come
live in my hamster house.

This is gonna be a somewhat painful merge, r2 really should upgrade the wb hp.

LMAO so funny the merger between S610, S614 and S617 is already an epic failure-all the top guilds are going to the top guild so once again all them power hungry players are once again gonna be in a dead server and the merge hasn't even happen yet-It was bad enough when 610 and 614 merged together barely two weeks ago, now this merge is gonna make even the combined servers even more dead then it was. The up side of this is of course in two or three week time these servers will be ganged up on by a even bigger merger. Plus a new west coast server I do hope will be opening soon, cause I need a rest from all the b.s that is currently going on

Ok so what happens to the servers being merged during chaos wars anyone has past experience on it , do we even keep the points we gathered on 3/12 or lose them ... and i m guessing the top 40 list wil be held of top br players of the merged server if it even counts it as a server participating in chaos wars overall ....huh interesting !

My guess, for us example, we are s172 right now getting merged with the server known as s28. For us in s172 that should mean that the list that counts is the one on s28, so our only chance to get into the final list is if anyone is offline.


But that's just my guess.

ok were now merged and it shows NONE of s616 players in choas wars (actually it just shows 613 only) even tho we have high enough br players to be involved and we cleared to next stage
will we get rewards if s613 get thro or not will we loose our chance at getting the mount that we are close to getting?
have we been totally screwed over by this merge we didn't really need as a only just over a month old server???
