    Wartune Server Launches for 2/05 @ Noon GMT

    On February 5th at Noon GMT, a new European server S634 Firekeep will be released.

    You can check out all the Activities and Promotions for new servers here in this thread. For any updates or changes, please keep an eye on this thread. See you in game!
    This Forum Admin is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone on to other work. He's a stiff. If R2 hadn't ignored him he'd still be employed. Bereft of work he lives in peace. His forum duties are now history. He's off the twig, he's kicked the bucket, he's shuffled off these forums, run down the thread count, and joined the ex-R2Games Employees Club. This is an ex-Forum Admin.

                  Noon means 12:00 midday in England (UK).

                  And they aren't stupid, a new server means new money as there are always people who think starting a new server will allow them to be 'that guy'.

                  If you note the main 'value' events happen in the first two weeks of a new server to encourage additional spending over and above what you might want to pay.
                  After that all that remains are the hard cash players and the free to play people who don't need to be number one to enjoy their game time.

                  If you were on server 630 when that launched you would have seen this exact pattern, with around 10 people cashing very heavily - all in the same guild which makes the server a joke.
                  At the end of the first week there were less than 50 people actively playing that server, but what does it matter R2 made a bucket load of $.

                  For me if your starting over I'd suggest picking a populated server that has been around a while - maybe look up who currently posts regular videos on YouTube and go on their server as their public audience usually means an active server pop.
                  Ofc this assumes you can live with never being number one - which lets face it you never were going to be anyway.
