Note: Due to servers being down for daily reset, some events may not reset until the following reset.....

lol As we know from the reply's already on the topic of the r2 servers down for maintenance (what was nasty for them cause it was in rave) you can chance the word SKIP to WILL .

No guild events
No Devotion From lot of things
No Digs
etc since those things get to reset on reset time

Btw..... is a emergency not something that must be done straight away??? doing it 17 hr after you mesage here on forum does not really sound as a emergency does it.

Why not do it straight after reset everything is done by then by every 1 no problems with things not resetting and back on before guilds start doing there stuff again etc
Save's you guys lots of complains etc and dev's do not have to give out extra compensation

An emergency maintenance is any maintenance that occurs outside of the regularly scheduled maintenance time. The almost full day advance warning is so everyone can plan their day accordingly.

This maintenance can't wait until after reset. While it looks like it would make sense to just wait 2 more hours, it's a staffed maintenance, and people have to watch over the machines until its completion, which has been around 12 hours for most of the server groups previously, but could be shorter or longer depending on how much data there is. Every server group's start time has been 10 am GMT+8.

Then its stupid to call it a emergency it is abusing a word for something its not meant to be used for ...... Then just call it extra maintenance for data transfer ...how ever speaking on ways that can be read on several ways is what wartune is great at so they always have a backdoor to hide behind.....

And throwing around with time's in edt /gmt etc why not just say server time?????? since its servers on east coast not from australia, europe etc
and people plan there day its middle of night lol eastcoast server time on reset!!!!!! So no 1 really have to plan there day accordingly ...unless ya european.australian etc who did not go to a server in there own time frame
So if your "special Maintenance" can not wait the 2 hr cause the people have to watch over the machine's story, then let there day start 2 hr later and they can go off 2 hr later ......on normal data transfer when the machines are good condition it can only make failure's by interference of humans....... so they do not need to watch even, just secure the data center so no 1 can go in.

Btw does that mean we gonna miss a day of the new hot events as well since we do not get the reset?????? Besides the day will be useless cause noway to make devotion etc since nothing will be reset!!!!!!......Hmmm wonder where the "planning the day accordingly" falls in there

I don't get to choose what terminology R2 wants to use in their announcements. It's an emergency in the sense that it will not be postponed, and will proceed at 10pm EDT, which has been the same time of day for R2 for every server group. The time listed is in server time, as the servers affected are in the EDT time zone.

By 'plan your day accordingly' I mean that with the advance notice, you can get your daily routine done before the servers go down, and if you normally do weekly events during the time frame the servers will be down for, you can reschedule your party.

The events that don't reset are mainly guild events, and dimension coordinates don't calculate for the day (no rewards, no time subtracted). Most other things, including hot events, should be functioning fine, but we've learned that sometimes it's unpredictable.

So caused by no reset:
no honor
no guild events
no crystals from postgrab/crystalwar
no dim rewards
no digging(even so not mentioned in r2 post it is effected by the daily reset)

and as you stated in 1 of those posts basically....everything that does not work will be working after the regular reset normally pfffffffffffffff will see

I didn't hear anything about digs not resetting the last few rounds, my server did not experience that issue. Not sure what honor has to do with anything, if you mean the Battleground attempts, those shouldn't be impacted, but as mentioned it's hard to predict.

And yes, all events affected by not having an online daily reset do fix themselves as soon as the server has an online daily reset.

That said, this is Wartune, so we will be watching the forum for any reports not related to daily resets, just in case there's unexpected surprises.

Monthly postgrab error there apparently not able to declare
WC already shouting not able to do guild events ...guess nothing learned from previous data transfer of the r2 eastcoast
Devotion works but for the people who are not vip it is going to be hard ot get there 300

Conclusion ........ rest what happend on the r2 eastcoast servers with the "emergency" maintenance will be happening for the kong/armor and gamerocks as well .....

Oh 1 thing LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG tripple of what it was

The lag should settle down as the server builds a cache to draw from.

All of your rankings look good? Viewing other toons is okay? Nothing else going on outside of the events that need to reset during tonight's reset?

honor did not reset even so battle ground attempts are there
as stated above people can not declare in postgrab(monthly issue do not think got to do with the data transfer)

Rankings seems normal

Wilds got some more thick air where ya go like a snale

if more pops up i will put in

Guess they draw it from the lag file cause its getting worse with the day
Used to be only level 2 of sylph atoll its now all where it seems ya have to go through a layer of mud to move;
75% of cloud city ya move slow motion and the moments you go as a rocket are scare
wilds have tripple the amount of dead slow spots al parts of the maps (checked them all)

Bg even if yr alone in it the side by red flag is like trying to move trough thick layer of mud most parts are slow motion

When you click speed up blitz you get now the famous shockwave flash not responding error again (was gone for long time)

Battles as in pvp or the fights against monsters etc well basically the same thing often lag ......

So do not know what there cache is build off........
but gonna be fun with the new stuff coming in Thursday then ya really can change name to lagtune!!!!!!!!

and did check my conn downloadspeed 275Mbps upload 11.2Mbps on wifi steady with a clean puter and everything up to date !!!!!!! just thought i would mention that incase ya start with that stuff
