Sorry to tell you but archer is not OP.
Mage is...
Archers have 1 weakness: low mdef. With same set, same gems... mages can kill archers pretty easy because archer's mdef is just bad...

Easily fixed with gems and tech. If the mage isn't geared with level 30 or 35 sets, they'll be wasted before they can pull out a decent attack. Thunderer can nuke an archer, if you can launch it. I have lorekeeper, so I can spam just about anything within a few hits. Archers are the bane of mages. Even with pdef gems in every gear, I still get a good amount of damage. Even against lower ranked ones, and with lower BR.

mages can be so powerfull.use the academy..tran mdef and pdef also hero hp,hero matk,,then buy skills in your guild..def and intellect boost..thats what im doing..i can handle the mages..im using Mages,,Name Babyval..guild Warlords

in S1 , a mage named Jazzara use Lorekeeper set , floor 70+ in catacomb
but all his gem lvl6 i think

Please remember that this game is not for you alone... The time that convenience for you does not mean it also convenience to others.
If they change the time to what u suggested, then others will come here and complain on how the time is no good for them.

As for archer, balance mdef and pdef? where did u get that idea from? I'm an archer with 18k battlerating and my mdef is 2300 pdef is 3600... balance?
Yes, Knights also have low mdef... but compare to archers knights have more hp and pdef. and btw, they also have shield...
